Im Gegensatz zur 7-Parameter-Transformation, die eine globale Formel f\u00fcr die gesamte Fl\u00e4che anwendet, ber\u00fccksichtigt NTv2 lokale Verzerrungen und Ungenauigkeiten. Dadurch kann NTv2 eine h\u00f6here Genauigkeit erreichen, insbesondere in Regionen mit komplexen geologischen Verh\u00e4ltnissen oder unterschiedlichen Messmethoden. Vereinfacht gesagt: Die 7-Parameter-Transformation ist wie eine grobe Skizze, w\u00e4hrend NTv2 ein detailliertes Gem\u00e4lde der Koordinatenverschiebungen liefert.
